Taking One for the Team
As many of you know, Harmony Day Support has been under the leadership of Andy Coleman for over 7 years. In addition to his passion for leading our company, his love for football may be in contention for first place. We had the opportunity to tour the Liberty University Football Stadium this spring. Taking a bus full of fellow football fans, Harmony staff piled in and watched as many of the prospective athletes practiced their skills in the indoor practice field.
We even received a rousing speech from the one and only Dr. Ed Gomes! He encouraged the individuals to stay true to themselves and strive for greatness. They each were given a wristband with the team motto and were promised a trip to the concession stand at their next visit.
Hoppy to Be Here
Easter brought on delightful weather and fun adventures for the HDS crew.
We enjoyed a cookout at Falling Creek Park with burgers, hot dogs, chips, and enough Easter eggs to fill a swimming pool!
We enjoyed the warm sunshine and played games in the park as the individuals dined on their feast. Everyone had a wonderful time during the Easter Egg Hunt-getting their fill of treats and demonstrating gratitude for the change of seasons.
What Easter event is complete without a visit to the Easter Bunny?
Friends gathered at the River Ridge Mall to meet the Happy Hopper Himself!
Aloha, Summer!
While we love any excuse to get outside and celebrate the warmer weather, we never want to miss an opportunity to dress the part.
The individuals at Harmony Day Support were thrilled to participate in the Summer Kickoff Bash this year. We wore lei’s, Hawaiian shirts, and slurped down some sweet, sugary, shaved ice-courtesy of Kona Ice Truck.
Olympic Hopefuls
Despite the heat waves, we celebrated the second-annual Summer Olympics at Harmony Day Support with style!
Each classroom went all-in and decorated their classrooms (and themselves) to participate in this year’s events. Hurdles, discus, and corn hole were all a part of the celebration.
The main event this year came in the form of The Foam Guy. As pictured below, all of the individuals suited up and got down with some killer dance moves-all while soaking themselves in millions of bubbles.
Talk about good, clean fun!
